Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how dotOrange handles information when you visit dotorange.app. In short: the site uses only essential, functional storage. We run no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by dotOrange (Roel van Roozendaal), an independent mobile app studio based in Berlin, Germany. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@dotorange.app.
2. What we collect
This is a static website with no accounts, sign-ups or contact forms. When your browser requests a page, it automatically sends technical data — your IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. Our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, may process this data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify you or combine it with other data.
3. Cookies & local storage
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. We store a small amount of data locally in your browser purely to make the site work: your cookie-consent choice, so the notice does not keep reappearing. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us or shared with third parties. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
4. Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes technical connection data as a data processor on our behalf to serve and secure the site. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details on how they handle this data.
5. Email contact
If you email us, we process your message and your contact details for the sole purpose of replying to you and, where relevant, discussing a potential project. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose.
6. External links
This site links to our apps and their stores (Urban Rider, TabSet, My Storage List) and to Apple's App Store and Google Play. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that destination applies — not this one.
7. Legal basis
We process the limited technical data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Email correspondence is processed to take steps at your request and to communicate with you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email hello@dotorange.app.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
